Lil Kim Was "Speechless" Over Beyonce's Halloween Costume Tribute of Her
Anytime Beyonce dresses up as you, it’s flattering, to say the least.
That’s the emotion Lil Kim experienced this Halloween. Not only did Bey present herself in the legendary emcee’s likeness. She did it five times – in all iconic Kim looks.
This wasn’t some TMZ, capture her on the fly-type ish either. Beyonce broke down each outfit on her website with statements outlining the origin of each image. Underneath each slideshow headline were the words, “HIP HOP WOULD NOT BE THE SAME WITHOUT OUR ORIGINAL QUEEN B.”
Suffice to say, Lil Kim was ecstatic that another powerful woman in music decided to pay tribute to her. Taking to Twitter, Kim wrote, “I’m speechless and honored #beyonce #lilkim #TookUsABeak #queenbee.” Kim then shared her thoughts on each look, which Beyonce slayed, of course.
