Issa Lie: Tyrese's Ex Shoots Down His 'Fake Marriage' Claims And Tells The Real Truth About Their Relationship

Norma Gibson has a story to tell...

Tyrese recently made headlines — again — for his recent scathing comments about his ex-wife Norma Gibson, where he claimed he only married her for her to gain American citizenship.

Now, she is reportedly clapping back at his claims.

During a recent appearance on the Rickey Smiley Morning Show, the actor claimed that he only married Norma for one reason and one reason only: for her to get a green card. However, according to Page Six, sources close to her say otherwise.

"He's lying as always," the source claimed. "He tried to get her back before he was engaged... He's furious she wouldn't come back to him."

The source claims the issue runs deeper than their failed marriage — Tyrese allegedly is gunning for full custody of their child, Shayla.

This was all started when Black Ty said on the radio show in an extensive rant that he only married Norma to "keep her in the country," going on to attempt to prove that his love was not real.

"We had an angel, but I married you to keep you in the country," he said. "I never married you because we were happily married. You're from London. I married you because we had a baby on the way and I had to do whatever I had to do so I'm not traveling all the way to London just to spend quality time with my baby. So, now you're running around painting this picture, like we was [singing 'Here Comes the Bride']. We got married and there was like seven people there."
