Richard Pryor’s Daughter Says He Did Have A Secret Relationship, But It Wasn’t With Marlon Brando

She sets the record straight.

Quincy Jones' now viral interview with Vulture continues to be the talk of the internet days after its initial publishing. One of the bombshells he dropped in the piece involved his take on late comedian Richard Pryor's alleged sexual relationship with late actor Marlon Brando

Now, after Jones' words shocked the world, Pryor's daughter, Rain, has taken to social media to share what she believes to be the truth, and, according to her, Jones' words ain't it.

In Jones' interview, he candidly mentioned that Brando was so sexually fluid that he would "f**k anything." "He'd f**k a mailbox," he said, before mentioning a list of men he had allegedly slept with, including the likes of James Baldwin, Marvin Gaye and Pryor.

Pryor's widow, Jennifer Lee Pryor, even confirmed the mogul's words, saying, "It was the '70s! Drugs were still good, especially quaaludes. If you did enough cocaine, you'd f**k a radiator and send it flowers in the morning."

The late comedian's daughter, however, is saying that while her dad was definitely sexually liberated, he never had sex with Brando.

Taking to Facebook, she penned a lengthy post explaining that while he and Brando never had a romantic or sexual interaction, he did have relations with a transgender woman.

"Daddy did NOT have relations with Brando," she wrote. "There were no trips to his South Pacific Oasis, no flowers or love notes between. Not even a film role. Why this sudden need to drag Daddy through the Hollywood mud? I find it tasteless and infuriating."

Speaking on his relationship with the trans woman, she explained that it was never really a topic of discussion as she was always accepted among them, especially during that time.

"My dad was very open with his life, so much so that news of his relationship with a trans woman in the early '70s and '80s wasn't really newsworthy nor notable," she wrote. "As a child I knew her, not as the trans person in our home, but the lady whom everyone accepted. So much acceptance I did not know she was Trans until recently."
