Wendy Williams Gets Dragged To The Depths Of Hell By The Beyhive Over This Absurd Critique Of Beyoncé
The polarizing queen of unsolicited gossip-fueled opinions and awkwardly problematic views on just about everything important — from the #MeToo movement to HBCUs — Wendy Williams is known more for speaking just to speak than for actually sharing thoughtful rhetoric.
Welp, this was proven yet again during this morning's broadcast of her talk show as, not even a full 48 hours into her return to TV after her second on-air topsy-turvy tumble, she's throwing shots at none other than the Queen of minding her business, Beyoncé.
The questionable comment was made when Williams was in the midst of sharing her thoughts on Fergie's apology regarding her heavily criticized performance of the "Star Spangled Banner" at the NBA All Star game.
After telling her ooh-and-ahh-trained "co-hosts" that she didn't believe Ferg's "I'm sorry" was warranted, she went down a list of songstresses who she somehow believes fits in the former Black Eyed Peas member's category of "auto-tune-necessary vocals."
After mentioning the likes of Janet Jackson and Jennifer Lopez, both of whom she claims "need autotune," she threw Beyoncé's name into the mix before her audience knee-jerkingly let out a "what you talkin' 'bout, girl?" "ooh."
Immediately after, she mentioned acts like Aretha Franklin, Adele and Mariah Carey as some of the few who, in her eyes, can sing "raw dog."

Wendy Williams is a lot of things — that's for certain — but a qualified judge of vocal talent surely isn't one of them.
Maybe another hiatus from the purple chair and the bright studio lights may be needed to shift her conscience back into focus.
