Yikes: ‘Love & Hip Hop: Miami’ Star Michelle Pooch Is Being Sued By An NFL Player Over A Relationship Gone Bad
Love & Hip Hop: Miami star Michelle Pooch — real name Michelle Janco — is currently being sued by a former football player who claims she scammed him of his money which was meant to be invested in her nail salon.
According to the Daily Mail, retired NFL star Branden Albert, 33, is claiming that after he invested $230,000 into Pooch's chain of nail salons, Get Nailed, she, instead, put the money towards her "salary and a chauffeured car."
Based on the lawsuit, Albert was the very first person to invest as he "saw tremendous opportunities to expand in the future."
The court docs filed state that Albert is demanding that she reimburse him of his money as he expected the investment to buy him 60 percent and would, ultimately, entitle him to profits and have him consulted on major business decisions.
He further claimed that after the opening of one nail salon in downtown Miami, he learned that he is not named on any incorporation papers and the money he invested only helped fund one future location.
"The bottom line is these people [Pooch and Jason Cuza — her boyfriend] took advantage of my client's naivete," Albert's attorney, Michael Schelsinger, said.
According to the Daily Mail, Pooch hung up the phone when they called for a comment.
Her attorney, Carlos Santisteban, claimed that he could not provide any comment as he is yet to see the lawsuit himself.
