Just about everyone’s reacted to Kanye West’s newest album Ye. Suffice to say, the content on it is uniquely Kanye controversial. So ear-opening in fact that his wife didn’t even know how to respond to at least one of the songs.
“Wouldn’t Leave” has a couple bars about Yeezy actually threatening to leave Kim Kardashian after the whole “I love Donald Trump” thing happened. On the track, he raps, "My wife callin', screamin', say we 'bout to lose it all / Had to calm her down 'cause she couldn't breathe / Told her she could leave me now, but she wouldn't leave.”
Now, we’re getting some reaction from Kim Kardashian. According to CNN, while the reality star and businesswoman was on the red carpet of the CFDA Fashion Awards in Brooklyn yesterday (June 4), she expressed how she felt while hearing the song.
"That was the one song that he didn't really play for me until the last minute," she said, then followed up by defending her husband. "He might say things that might get misinterpreted and people don't see the context behind it, but I always know his heart," she continued. "It meant a lot to me. We have different views sometimes, we have different things, but that's my husband, you know?"
Kim Kardashian accepted the first ever “Influencer Award” on Monday. Previously, Kanye West revealed he scrapped his whole album concept after the infamous TMZ newsroom debacle and receiving backlash from fans over his support for the 45th President.
