Kirk Frost Reportedly Had To Be ‘Pushed’ Into Claiming His Side Baby, And Twitter Has Thoughts

The reality star had some reservations.

Kirk Frost, once again, had Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta fans disgruntled after last Monday's episode of the reality show when he finally met with his love child, Kannon.

While he's seemingly now showing that he's excited to meet the 18-month-old he helped create, he appeared to have some reservations about meeting him, and Twitter had some strong opinions about his approach.

Frost recently took to Instagram to post a photo of him holding the toddler he conceived with his former mistress, Jasmine Washington, standing alongside his 23-year-old daughter from a previous relationship, Kelsie Frost.

Take a look at the photo, below, which he captioned, "#thankful."

  • While it remains a sweet moment between the father and son, the part that leaves a bad taste in viewers' mouths is the need for Frost's daughter to serve as a facilitator for the meeting to even take place.

In his confessional during the episode, he explained that she was the one who ultimately organized the introduction.

"I guess I should have realized that one day my kids would want to meet their brother," he said. "And honestly, having Kelsie as a go-between makes things smoother."

Further proving that this was the very first time Frost ever even saw his son, his daughter, Kelsie, confronted him during the episode about not being there for him and making a point to see him, finally.

"He's growing every day," she said. "If you are going to be in his life, don't half ass it, because you're going to miss moments and you're going to regret it. I think it's time for you to see him."

Twitter was clearly disgusted by the fact that the 49-year-old man needed his young daughter to push him to do what was right.
