Hopefully this is not a tease.

It seems as 2018 is the year of the sitcom reboot with shows like Will & Grace and the short-lived Roseanne being one of the many to get revived for modern times.

Not many of the revamped shows, though, receive the fanfare that they expect. However, Living Single star Erika Alexander recently proved that the hype is real for her the '90s sitcom that shot her to stardom after teasing that the show may be making a comeback.

Taking to Instagram, the actress, who played "Maxine Shaw, attorney at law" on the series, sent fans into a frenzy with just a few words that held a substantial amount of weight.

"Anybody know how to reboot this?" she said while pointing to her laptop before winking at the camera.

In the post's supporting caption, she added the hashtags "#maxineshaweffect, #reboot, #livingsingle, #nowarranty."

Take a look, below:

  • Proving that this is definitely an idea that social media is completely here for, fans of the show swarmed Twitter with words of excitement at the possibility of the sitcom making a return, especially given its open-ended series finale.
