In some news that just about no one anticipated, gospel performer Kirk Franklin has found himself in the middle of a scandal of sorts after his son claimed that he is trying to kill him.

According to Eurweb, the famous performer's estranged son, Kerrion Franklin, 30, made the outrageous claim in a now-deleted Instagram post.

"My own father is trying to kill me," he wrote. If anything happens to me its @kirkfranklinsneaky a*s [sic]. A lot of funny s**t been happening and hes in LA right now hiding from me and ii [sic] havent heard from him. So I'm just leaving this here for safety purposes. I cant deal with this f**k s**t on my own anymore. I'm done. My life is too valuable... in real time."

Kirk, as of writing, has not yet responded to the allegation.

The site reports that Kerrion is Kirk's child from a previous relationship and also added that he has been estranged from the family for years. He reportedly claims, himself, that he has always been the black sheep.
