R&B rookie Jacquees has been feeling his oats lately, as he confidently dubbed himself the King of R&B. Since his post went viral, his comments sparked a social media-wide debate with several other musicians chiming in to share their thoughts on who the most deserving talent is, in their opinion, to bear the title.
The latest A-lister to do so is Academy Award-winner Halle Berry, who gave her a valid suggestion with a tinge of shade.
In response to the 24-year-old's lofty self-proclamation, Berry took to Twitter to express that, in fact, the late Prince is the real King of the genre.
"Me watching these Clearly-Not-Prince singers argue over who the King of R&B is..." she wrote.
