Jordyn Woods Dropped Bomb After Bomb During Tell-all Interview With Jada Pinkett-Smith
Jordyn Woods' highly anticipated interview on the Facebook Watch series Red Table Talk has finally premiered, and the young starlet didn't spare any details while recounting the headline-making exchange she shared with Khloé Kardashian's now ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson.
Before sitting down at the show's now infamous red table with host Jada Pinkett-Smith, Woods, who shares a tight bond with the family, sat with Jada and her mother, Adrienne Banfield-Jones, at their kitchen counter, lightly briefing what they were about to discuss.
The ladies then video called Will Smith — whom she calls "Uncle Will" — who shared a few comforting words of advice with the 21-year-old from the set of Bad Boys 3.
"Jordyn's father worked on Fresh Prince [of Bel-Air] before she was born, and I know how hard it was for you and your family when he passed," he shared. "What I wanted to say to you is the world attacks. It just happens. You'll never get around the world attacking, but I want you to know that you are supported, and I got you and we got you."
After sharing that heartfelt moment with the actor, she and Jada changed settings to the Red Table main set, where they delved into the details of the infamous night the alleged hookup occurred.
Before they began, though, the Girls Trip star prefaced what was to come with some suggestions directed to the program's viewers.
"I have known Jordyn Woods for her entire life," she said. "And I just want everybody to know that anybody that's coming to the table today needs to understand that A, we're dealing with really sensitive subjects and B, we need to deal with it with compassion."
Jada then directly stressed to Jordyn, "There's a family that feels betrayed by you," referencing her close bond with the Kardashian clan. "I want to give you the opportunity to tell your truth and I want you to tell it through the lens of what your part has been, because that's the only part you can change."
She initially did not know she was going to a party at Thompson's house
In her candid explanation, Woods gave a play-by-play of the events of February 17, when she and the NBA star reportedly got intimate. She said that she went to dinner with some friends before relocating to a bar, afterward, as there was a party going on.
"I was minding my business, dancing, drinking," she said. "Tristan was there, he was doing his own thing. That was it."
She said her group then decided to go to a house party to continue the night's festivities. She did not realize until they were already en route, however, that Thompson's house was the location for the turn up.
"I'm like, 'Cool, that's OK,'" she said. "It feels like a safe environment. I'd rather it be his house than a random stranger."
She acknowledged, however, that that was her first mistake: "I'm not thinking, 'I shouldn't be here,'" she said. "That's my first step where I went wrong. [I wasn't thinking about] how I would feel if someone close to me is hanging out at my ex's house or the father of my child. I didn't think about that. That's the first part of the problem... I should have gone home after the party. I shouldn't even have been there."
They shared no intimate interactions during the party
In addressing rumors that she gave the athlete a "lap dance" while they were at his residence, she claimed that is completely false.
"Never once was I giving him a lap dance, making out with him, sitting all over him," she said. "It's just, we're all together, we're in a group. Never once did we leave a public area, go to a bedroom, go to a bathroom. We're all in plain sight."
They were not alone when she decided to leave at 6 a.m.
Kylie Jenner's BFF then said that she ended up staying at Thompson's house until 6 o'clock in the morning. What she claims several of the previous reports on the night's events omitted, however, is that there were other people still there, at that time.
"That wasn't the first place I stayed until six in the morning," she said. "There was always somebody there while I was there. Even up until the moment that I left, there were people there. I finally look outside and I'm like, 'Look, the sun's coming up. I need to take myself home.'"
Tristan kissed her on her way out the door
She explained that this is where things took an inappropriate turn. After she announced she was leaving to Thompson, she claimed he suggested she stay over: "He's like, 'Are you sure? It's fine. You can be safe here.' I was like, 'You know what? I need to go.' I had a car outside. There was a driver that had been waiting."
Warning that "this is where the story gets tricky," Jordyn, with tears welling up in her eyes, clarified that while she was definitely drunk when she was about to leave, she was "never blacked out." "I know where I was," she said.
As she was leaving, she claims Thompson kissed her.
"On the way out, he did kiss me," she said before stressing there was "no passion, no nothing... He just kissed me."
She fully takes responsibility for putting herself in that situation
While she claimed he made the first move, Jordyn fully owned up to her part in the messy ordeal before admitting that she "didn't know how to feel" after the kiss.
"I allowed myself to be in that position," she said. "And when alcohol's involved, people make dumb moves or people get caught up in the moment... I was like, 'That didn't just happen.' I was leaving already so I walked out immediately after."
She did not immediately tell Kylie and Khloé the truth about what happened
While she left Thompson's home in a state of confusion, she admitted that that mood lasted into the next morning as she did not tell the Kardashians the full story.
"I was honest about being there, but I was not honest about the actions that had taken place," she said. "I didn't tell the truth to the people that I loved, not because of malicious intent, but because I was just scared."
She is certain she is not responsible for Khloé and Tristan's split
Despite it all, the young socialite confidently said that she is not the reason Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson split. She added that, while she understands that the mother of one needs some time to process what happened, she is not apologizing for telling her side of the story.
"In the process of her processing, I can't see my family get hurt anymore," she said. "So, that's why I had to break my silence... I'm not here to play the victim. I'm here to take responsibility."
