Since fans of the forthcoming live-action remake of The Lion King learned of Beyoncé's involvement in the project, the anticipation behind it hit fever pitch.
With a couple trailers being released over the past few of months, Nala (voiced by Queen Bey, herself) was yet to be seen. However, the recently released clip magnificently shows all of the major characters that fans of the original film grew to love — including the lioness, voiced by Mrs. Knowles-Carter.

This isn't Beyoncé's first time at the voice over rodeo. Over the past few years, the singer/actress has lent her voice to other praised animated characters such as Shine in the 2006 cartoon Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! and Queen Tara in the 2013 film Epic.
In addition to the first look at Yoncé's character in The Lion King, fans are clutching their pearls and grabbing their tissues, as the trailer triggers some major feelings of nostalgia, for many.
