The Internet Is in Shambles Over Blue Ivy's Freestyle on Jay-Z's '4:44' Album

"Never seen a ceiling in my whole life..."

Even though we were warned several weeks in advance, Jay-Z’s 13th studio album, 4:44, still managed to be one of the most incredible hip-hop surprises of 2017.

Through pure, raw lyricism and revelatory vibes laced through each track, Hov returned to his rap throne after his four-year album hiatus. The opus also hit RIAA-certified platinum status in under a week of its release, proving once more that even at 47 years old, the Roc Nation boss has still got this rap thing in the bag. But if you think Jigga is a beast on wax, just get an earful of his 5-year-old baby girl Blue Ivy Carter’s adorable bars.

Revealed on one-third of the project’s crisp new tracks, "Blue's Freestyle/We Family," Blue spits 45 seconds-worth of bars that even we must say has some great potential to end the career of your favorite mumble rapper.

"Everything, everything is my only single thing,” she adorably rhymes. “Everything I hear is my answer, I never hear that / I be in the posse / Never seen a ceiling in my whole life."

There you have it, folks. Ms. Blue Ivy has officially become the first person to out-rap Hov — and on his own album!

Listen to Blue's bars and how the internet has crowned the 5-year-old femcee below.
