Leave it to a No. 1 smash hit and social media takeover from Cardi B to ignite the Twitter fingers of Harlem femcee Azealia Banks, which is exactly what took place on Monday (September 25).
Banks’ hailstorm of fiery tweets denouncing the “Bodak Yellow” artist’s rise to the Billboard Hot 100 throne was only the beginning, as she took her rampage to Snapchat and Instagram as well. Banks’ accusations against Cardi went from ghostwriting to questionable favors for her newly-budding rap career to even blasting Cardi’s past as a stripper.
And anyone who knows Cardi and her Bronx background knows that she not only clapped back at Banks on a solo note with the fierceness, but also with the family and entire Bardi Gang behind her as well.
Now, things seem to have taken a stone cold turn for the Ice Princess.
