Cardi B Makes Music History Again
Cardi B's reign isn't showing any signs of letting up anytime soon as new reports show that she has another major accolade to celebrate in her still burgeoning rap career.
After the massive success of her former Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit "Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)," which made her the first female hip hop artist to top the chart sans features in 19 years, she now celebrates another first.
According to Billboard, the former Love & Hip Hop: New York star is now the first female rapper to chart her very first three entries in the top 10 positions of the list, simultaneously, on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Chart.
As of November 18, "Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)," which formerly held down the No. 1 spot for six weeks, moved to No. 2, while the recently released "Motorsport," her collaboration with Migos and fellow femcee Nicki Minaj, debuted at No. 6. Her record with G-Eazy and A$AP Rocky, "No Limit," rounds out the Top 10.
In addition to being the first female MC to see her first three Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs smashes secure positions in the top 10, simultaneously, Cardi B also remains the first artist to achieve this feat since Fetty Wap back in 2015.
Congrats to her on her latest achievement!
