Could This Solution From Snoop Dogg Fix America's School Shooting Problem?

Someone finally makes sense around here.

A frightening spike in mass shooting epidemics occurring in only the first few months of 2018, particularly the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting, has refueled the conversation around America’s gun control problem and the NRA.

The issues are plenty, as voices from opposing ends have debated Second Amendment rights, mental health and basic protections for the nation’s citizens. West Coast rap legend Snoop Dogg’s solution, however, is worth a listen for both sides of the argument.

Uncle Snoop began by stating the obvious: schools must be protected. How should the communities move forward in ensuring these protections? According to Snoop, there’s two ways: more law enforcement protecting the front doors of the schools, and metal detectors. You know, like the ones they plop at the entrance of schools in the hood.

“We have enough law enforcement that do nothing but ride around and look for n**gas to harass,” he explained. “You can put them in front of the schools. You could also have metal detectors at schools like they do in the hood schools. That’s why you don’t hear about no shootings at the hood schools. Because we take provisions and make sure that kind of sh** don’t happen at school.”

He reiterated that “kids are supposed to be safe at school,” and Tha Doggfather artist just wanted to share his solution on what might help with that. Should his words of wisdom pass by any Donald Trump supporting ears, he’d also like for them to send his message to the White House occupant. This is especially important for him since his administration acts as if they’re afraid of the NRA, Snoop continued.

“Hopefully, the motherf**ker will listen with his hard-headed a**,” he said. “You hear me? So, put some police at the schools, metal detectors...”
