After breaking things off with the youngest sister of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, Kylie Jenner, Young Money-turned-GOOD Music rapper Tyga is back in hip-hop action.
That might be hard to believe considering that the California-native had been locked down with Kylie for about two years, just long enough to fall victim to the widely recognized, fan-conceptualized “Kardashian curse.” Theory has it that all of the men who have taken on an intimate relationship with any of the Kardashian sisters are hell bound for career, and sometimes personal, demise. Well, Tyga’s LA Leakers freestyle might debunk that theory, and he’s got two minutes' worth of bars topped off with a little Kardashian shade to prove it.
He spits into the usual rap braggadocio next, boasting the “bad b**ches” in his circle, an NBA baller shout-out for Kyrie Irving and even a fire double entendre on the talented R&B newbie H.E.R. But he wasn’t done picking at the reality star family of his now-20-year-old girlfriend just yet.
“Believe it or not/ Came back from the sunken, now I’m cream of the crop,” he rhymed. For those unfamiliar with the shady reference, the Get Out film-originated “sunken place” is a psychological bottomless abyss that traps Black folks hostage under the strict mental and physical control of white people.
