Kanye West Moves Back To Chicago And Fans Are Calling Bullsh*t

Alexa, play Ye's "Homecoming..."

Kanye West has been notorious for outlandish antics and erratic outbursts for years since his mother Donda West's death in 2007. In November 2016, after his wife, Kim Kardashian-West, was robbed and held at gunpoint in Paris, Ye was hospitalized and placed on a psychiatric hold. In May, the "Heartless" emcee claimed that "slavery was a choice," and that next month while promoting his album, ye, he answered the questions fans already assumed regarding his bipolar diagnosis.

However, Kanye has seemed to calm down from his previously infamous eruptions. He apologized to both Drake and the Black community and now might be trying to swoon fans back into his good graces when he announced to the city of Chicago that he was moving back home.

  • Last week, Ye announced that he would be moving the Yeezy offices from Calabasas to Chi-town as well a slew of plans he has for his hometown

  • Some took the news simply as a means for promo. Ye confirmed two new projects, 'Good Ass Job' with fellow Chicagoan Chance The Rapper and 'Yandhi,' set to drop later this month.

  • His impending homecoming has prompted one to inquire about Ye's rumored political agenda

  • Others simply weren't tryna buy what he was selling.

  • While a few diehard Ye fans can't wait for the old Kanye's highly anticipated return.

  • Despite the deep urge to side-eye the whole thing, if Kanye keeps his word, this is a step in the right direction, and who can be mad at that?
