Wait, Is "Old Kanye" Making A Return?

Fans sure hope so.

Hip-hop's estranged legend, Kanye West had been submerged in the sunken place for quite some time, but it seems that now he may have seen the light. He took to Twitter to declare his separation from conservative Candance Owens, "Blexit" and his known political agenda. As far as the music is concerned, his fans might have the old Ye back. Brooklyn-bred icon Talib Kweli announced that he and Ye began working on a joint album back in January. Kweli is known for being apart of famed duo, Black Star, alongside fellow Brooklynite Mos Def, formally Yasiin Bey.

  • Kweli penned this sentiment that had fans pressing play on 'College Dropout' Ye. "Hey Ye it’s probably time to revisit this one... lyrics are timely AF. Welcome back."

Back in Janaury, Owens attacked Kweli with a slew of derogatory words and now she's back with similar antics against the Chi-town emcee. Here's some bars from the track: "N***as wanna play both sides/Like both sides got very fine people. One side wanna is fighting, playing the nazis/The other side is straight evil. If people wanting to be equal is a threat to you/And equality is death to you..."

Like he said, finish it up. This could be the comeback fans have been waiting for. Check it out in full below.
