We hear nothing but crickets from the critics.

Anyone who’s ever been so lucky to witness a live Beyoncé performance has also undeniably witnessed the remarkable magnitude of her unaltered and purely organic vocals. But with the visual allure of her magnetizing theatrics and hypnotizing pyrotechnics, there’s still laughable criticisms questioning just how much Bey can blow without the help of any electronic assistance.

  1. In usual Queen Bey fashion, she let the talent speak for itself by giving fans a glimpse into her studio sessions for Making the Gift. The ABC special, which premiered on Monday night (September 16), dug into the making of her executively-produced Lion King: The Gift track by track. For songs like “Already” and “Spirit,” Bey showed intimate moments with the mic as she disappeared into her vocals, crooning off into some of the most amazing natural runs and soft ballad singing (and piano-playing) the world has ever heard.

  2. Fan or not, Beyoncé’s supreme vocal talent is an irrefutable truth that’s pretty much no longer up for debate. BeyHive Twitter wasted no time in letting the world know it, too:
