Hair Theory: Rihanna's New 3D Color

The pop star is rocking fall's most fab hair trend. Here's the breakdown.

Rihanna’s new curly ‘do is not just cute, it’s also one of the hottest hair trends of fall. The singer recently traded in her fiery red mane for this caramel-colored coif with 3D hues. Rich shades in the same family are blended to create varying tones that literally leap off of your strands.

The most popular celebrity hues are bronzed and mahogany browns. Bey’s halo of tight curls is a perfect example, as it sweeps deep chocolate roots into chunky, blonde highlights and finishes with golden amber tresses. Rih’s look follows the same formula, with the inclusion of spicier colors like cinnamon, toffee and champagne.

If you’re ready to drench your hair in multi-shade magnificence, we recommend clipping a few pics from a magazine to create a hair vision board for you and your stylist to review. Focus on painting your roots with a more natural color that extends into a bevy of warm shades. Don’t go for shock and wow. Instead, adapt fall’s soft, feminine attitude.
