Trick Daddy Doesn't Hold Back with The Breakfast Club

Slip-n-Slide Records founder talks Lupus, Cosby, Birdman and much more.

Trick Daddy is easily one of the most hilariously transparent and maybe a little awkward interviews that The Breakfast Club has done all year. From the second Trick sat down with the Power 105.1 crew this morning, he was ready to go all the way in.

Seriously, nothing was off limits (even some stuff you probably didn’t need to know about him). Take his daily health regimen, for example. The 42-year-old admitted that he hasn’t taken Lupus medication in years. He smokes a mixture of weed and cocaine instead.

"When I smoke weed and coke, the worst thing that’s gonna happen to me is I’mma go to sleep or eat,” he explained. “If I take Lupus medicine, I gotta take a pill for this pill, a pill for that pill… then I gotta go back to the doctor every Thursday and give them my money."

And that’s just the beginning. See more excerpts below.

On Bill Cosby: "I know Bill was a creep anyway. I gave this fool a song called ‘I Just Wanna' Sing’ for the Fat Albert soundtrack and he talking 'bout, ‘That doesn’t fit.’ I’m talking about positive stuff [on the song]. I knew something wasn’t right about him and Oprah. You know I got a problem with Oprah, and the new person I have a problem with is Tyler Perry."

On Homosexuality: “Now little girls in elementary school talking about they’re gay. Little boys talking about they're gay…I don’t have nothing against gays, I’m not homophobic. I got a sister that’s my brother and an uncle that’s my aunt. Michael Jackson and Prince was the only ‘borderline’ dudes I accepted in my life."

On Birdman: "He wanna be a Crip one day, a Blood the next day. He wanna hang with the fake Haitians…I’ve done business with Birdman, some was good some was bad. I just think when you trying to be a CEO, a rapper, a ladies man and a girlfriend...

"Somebody tell me what’s Cash Money office address. You ever saw a Cash Money office, a picture? There ain’t one."
