Gucci previously reached a plead deal that would free him by the end of 2016. While we don’t know the exact date Gucci's release is expected to happen soon, reports The Source.
Over the weekend, Gucci’s social media accounts were mysteriously deleted, a possible clue that his release date is on the horizon. Sean Paine, the sound engineer helping Gucci drop so much music from jail, says the accounts were deleted for a fresh start. “He wants to wait until he gets out to build anticipation and resurface everything under the new Gucci brand," Paine told the blog Pigeons & Planes.
Gucci was sentenced to two years for gun possession. He was originally expected to be released at the end of the year.
