“It’s Free Swipe Yo EBT” Video Goes Viral

The controversial and stereotypical video angers African-Americans across the web.

Have people stooped this low to get 15 minutes of fame?

A new video and song entitled, “It’s Free Swipe Yo EBT” has African-Americans outraged.

The video showcases a Black woman surrounded by small children, pregnant women and EBT signs outside of stores signing “it’s free swipe yo EBT.” In the song the woman raps about how easy it is to get government assistance all you have to do is have intercourse, keep having children and become a single mother.

The video has drawn criticism of being racist and stereotyping Blacks and welfare. It’s almost saddening to know that people would put time, energy and money into creating a video extremely insulting to people, who need the assistance of the government to survive and those who are single mothers making a “good living” for themselves.

Is this a joke?
