Chris Paul Traded to Los Angeles Clippers

New Orleans Hornets point guard Chris Paul will be traded to the Los Angeles Clippers after his first bid to the Los Angeles Lakers was axed last week by the league.

Well, it may not be with the Los Angeles Lakers, but it looks like New Orleans Hornets point guard Chris Paul will be playing in LA after all.

The league-owned Hornets agreed to a “deal in principle” to trade the four-time All-Star to the Los Angeles Clippers late Wednesday.

In the tradeoff, the Clippers will send guard Eric Gordon, center Chris Kaman, forward Al-Farouq Aminu and Minnesota's unprotected 2012 first-round pick to the Hornets. The Clippers will also receive two future second-round picks, sources told ESPN.com.

Last week, NBA commissioner David Stern blocked a three-way deal that would have sent Paul to the Lakers in exchange for Lamar Odom, Houston Rockets guards Kevin Martin and Goran Dragic and forward Luis Scola.
