People Are Blasting Ray Lewis For Kneeling During The National Anthem After He Criticized Colin Kaepernick

"Don't be fake. Keep the same energy you've had for months."

Published September 25, 2017

Last month, Ray Lewis was heavily dragged for telling Colin Kaepernick to quiet his social activism down.

So, when Lewis joined his former Baltimore Ravens teammates in kneeling during the national anthem before the Ravens-Jacksonville Jaguars game yesterday as a reaction to President Trump calling any protesting NFL player a "son of a b***h," people instantly weren't feeling him for doing the same thing he criticized Kaep for.

And they let Ray know that and more with these no-chill tweets.

  1. Here's a shot of Ray Lewis kneeling with the Ravens before their game in London's Wembley Stadium

He had to know that he was going to get blasted for this.

  2. Immediately, people wanted to know how Lewis knelt during the anthem when he criticized Kaepernick for doing the same thing

    How, Sway?

  3. And they let him know not to be 'fake' now

    Too late, bruh.

  4. The former two-time Super Bowl champ was labeled a 'cornball and clown'

You did this to yourself, Ray.

  5. Kaepernick was probably like ...

    Shaking our heads, too.

  6. And here's one take on it ...

    DAMN!

  7. People saluted the Ravens, but as for you, Ray ...

    Wow.

  8. Despite him kneeling during the anthem yesterday, people aren't about to forget this ...

He did meet with 45, smiles and all.
