Trump Supporters Are Sharing This Fake Photo Of Michael Bennett Burning The American Flag
It's amazing how supporters of President Trump will get behind anything he says. After the celebrity-in-chief called any NFL player protesting during national anthem a "son of a b***h" last week, this fake picture of Seattle Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett burning the American flag with the caption "no more NFL" was posted on the "Vets for Trump" Facebook group's page yesterday.
Despite the image being blatantly Photoshopped, the group's members ran with it, sharing it over 5,000 times and destroying Bennett's and the Seahawks' names in the process until they had their bubble burst and were exposed for reacting to a fake picture.
Here's the fake shot that lit "Vets for Trump" on fire and the ignorance that ensued.
Here's the fake image of Michael Bennett burning the American flag that was posted on the 'Vets for Trump' Facebook page
Shaking our heads.
The group's members immediately ran with it, blasting Bennett over something he never did
Oh, lord.
They even threatened to fight fire with fire
Unreal.
Seahawks coach Pete Carroll got dragged into it as well
They seriously thought this picture was real.
Eventually, someone outed the pic as a fake image
Absolutely ridiculous.
And when the image was outed as a doctored one, people had to take a page out of Trump's book in saying "#FakeNews"
Can't make this stuff up.
