NBA Star Donovan Mitchell Connects With His Fans In BET Exclusive Episode Of 'Rookie On The Rise'

The 13th overall NBA Draft pick reflects on his rise to fame in the 12th episode of the docu-series.

The short-form digital docu-series, “Rookie On The Rise,” which launched on April 3 by Young Hollywood TV, features an in-depth look at Utah Jazz Star Donovan Mitchell, the 13th overall NBA Draft pick, 2018 Slam Dunk contest winner and Rookie of the Year candidate.

In episode 12, exclusively obtained and released early by BET Digital, Mitchell is seen connecting time with his fans at a meet-and-greet. Additionally, the Utah Jazz star and his family reflect on the surreality of his newfound rise to fame.


Each two- to five-minute episode features behind-the-scenes moments with Mitchell following his rise to national stardom, interactions with family and friends, his first All-Star Weekend experience, the race for Rookie of the Year, and more. The series offers fans a never-before-seen intimate look at an athlete whose career has caught the attention of the country.
