Petey Pablo

After inking a deal with Jive Records, Moses Mortimer Barrett III, better known as Petey Pablo, released his debut Diary of a Sinner: 1st Entry in 2001.  The gold-selling album led to a Grammy nomination and his second LP Still Writing in My Diary: 2nd Entry, which birthed his biggest single to date, "Freek-a-Leek."  After the success of his first two albums, the North Carolinian dropped a few independent singles and a mixtape before he began serving a 35-month sentence for a federal gun charge in January 2012.
