Randy Jackson

Most probably recognize Randy Jackson for occupying a seat on American Idol's judging panel, but the industry insider has enjoyed a long and lucrative career producing, songwriting and playing bass and keyboard for some of the biggest names in the music business. He boasts a Grammy award, a radio show and a self-produced LP, which hit racks in 2008. That same year, the veteran musician premiered his competitive dance show, America's Best Dance Crew, on MTV, which lasted seven seasons. Jackson is currently the only original judge still laying down the law on American Idol, but announced his withdrawal from the show following the conclusion of its 12th season.
