Gabrielle Union has gone from dominating TV and movie screens to now taking over the beauty aisle.

With the introduction of her new Flawless Haircare line, the Being Mary Jane star aims to help women "create ever-changing looks without compromising their hair."

To showcase the importance of this philosophy, Union took to Instagram to show her followers her natural hair, in hopes of inspiring them to protect the locs growing directly from their heads.

In the IG post, the actress showed off her natural hair being styled above a caption explaining how she takes care of it and where her journey towards healthier hair began.

"When you take care of your own natural hair when you wear wigs, weaves and extensions," she wrote. "Around 25-years-old, I stopped using relaxers and slowly grew my natural hair out. It's been a helluva hair journey... This is for those curious about my natural hair and needed proof it actually existed."
