Amara La Negra initially made headlines, months ago, for a positive reason when she burst onto the scene advocating for Afro-Latinas during the premiere of Love & Hip Hop: Miami.

Now that the world relatively knows who she is, it seems as her values on other subjects are starting to catch the attention of many, with the latest being her sexist and borderline subservient opinion about male-female romantic relationships.

The reality star recently took to Instagram to share a photo of herself cleaning and "scrubbing" shower walls while rocking a bodycon dress and her signature 'fro. The caption that supported the picture, however is what seemed to rub many the wrong way.

"A man's house is a reflection of the woman his [sic] with. Food for thought," she wrote.

After noticing the major backlash she was receiving for her tone deaf words, she changed the caption to read, "Being Pretty is Just a Bonus with me," before disabling her comments.
