While we’re a long way from figuring out whether star-crossed Fitz and Olivia end up in that cozy house in Vermont, there's a silver lining. This fall, we'll be able to fill our closets with super chic pieces from her wardrobe.

Scandal star Kerry Washington and the TV show’s costume designer, Lyn Paolo, have teamed with The Limited to create a new clothing collection inspired by everyone’s favorite Washington, D.C. “fixer,” Olivia Pope.

“People who love the look of the show can now step into this world in a way that is affordable and accessible because not everybody can afford to have the clothes they see on the show,” the actress, who plays Pope on the juicy political drama, tells WWD. 

And if you’ve always wanted to shop Olivia’s closet, you’re in luck because Washington will wear some pieces from the line on the show. Of having a close hand in the design process, the star and new mom says, “It’s been really fun to have a voice at every stage of the production from picking buttons, choosing fabrics and weighing in on hair and makeup people.”

The 42-piece collection arrives at The Limited stores and the retailer’s website in late September, and our minds are already racing about the possibilities. We’re envisioning plenty of soft pastel blouses, tailored wool suits and killer statement bags made for swinging down the halls of the White House.
