While popping up on BenDaDonnn’s Twitch livestream, the Toronto rapper brought up the luxury car that once broke the internet. “You remember when this Saweetie Bentley was going viral?” Drake asked. “There was an ice blue Bentley. It was Saweetie’s car, and they said Quavo had got it for her. I saw it for sale somewhere… I was like, ‘I’mma buy that back for my dawg.’”

If you were on social media at the time, you definitely remember Saweetie’s Christmas post. The Bentley was parked outside, wrapped in a giant bow, and Saweetie was seen jumping up and down in pure excitement. The moment instantly became one of the most talked-about celebrity gifts that year. But fast-forward to 2021, when Saweetie and Quavo called it quits, and rumors started swirling that the luxury car didn’t stick around post-breakup.

Drake said he spotted the Bentley listed for sale and decided to buy it as a surprise for Quavo, but the plan didn’t go as he expected. “I had parked the whip right in the front,” he explained. “I bought it for him. He pulled up thinking she was there… he really didn’t understand the joke.” Instead of laughs, the moment turned awkward, with Quavo reportedly confused about what was happening.

As of now, neither Saweetie nor Quavo has spoken out about Drake’s comments or confirmed what actually happened to the Bentley after their split.
