JT Reiterates Her Support for the Trans Community

She raps about it in her song “no Bars.”

JT has supported the Trans and overall LGBTQ community for some time, and during a recent interview, the Miami native reiterated that love.

Sitting down with Billboard, the City Girls rapper (who was joined by Yung Miami) was asked about the bar “pretty like a transgender” from her solo single “No Bars.”

“I feel like transgenders are so pretty,” she responded. “I know a few personally and I call them all the time and ask them for little tricks and trades so you know they the girls.”

Elsewhere on the City Girls’ new album RAW, they further expose their support for the transgender community, particularly on the lead single “Flashy,” where they feature trans pop singer Kim Petras.

“We were looking for somebody who was going to sound good on the record. And Kim Petras, I think that she’s dope and she sounds great,” JT told the outlet.
