Boosie Badazz is leveling up in a major way this year.
According to Variety, the rapper is slated to make his feature film debut this year, recently scoring a role in a forthcoming boxing drama titled Glass Jaw.
As reported, the film is currently being shot in Los Angeles and is produced by Steve Perry (True Romance) and Zeus Zamani.
Badazz has been cast as a "boxing bettor and underground fight club operator with street smarts who wins money on [the main] character’s fight," Variety reports.
Additionally, the full cast includes Lee Kholafai as the lead, as well as Korrina Rico, Jon Gries, Ashlee Macropoulos, Mark Rolston, Jaime Camil, Vernon Wells and Steven Williams.
Other details, such as when the film is set to enter post-production and land on a premiere date, have yet to be disclosed.
