Coi Leray Linked with Tinder for New Partnership

The app added a matchmaking feature that allows friends and family to recommend potential suitors for users on the platform.

Coi Leray is playing Cupid.

On Monday (Oct. 23), the dating app Tinder announced its partnership with the "Players" rapper to help singles find their perfect match, as reported by Vibe. To take virtual romance to the next level, the app unveiled a new feature called Tinder Matchmaker that allows friends and family of users to add their two cents in hopes that their loved ones will choose the right mate.

“Handing your phone over to the friend group was the original vibe check. Obviously you want your friends to like whoever you’re crushing on, and Tinder Matchmaker is a fun way to get the bestie seal of approval even before the match,” the artist said in a press release.

Leray also starred in a promo clip for the new feature in which she grills bachelors who are on the hunt for love.

Tinder Matchmaker “lets friends and family asynchronously access Tinder to recommend profiles for a user." Those not looking for love on the app themselves but want to help their crew can now invite others, whether or not they have their own Tinder profile. They can also view eligible suitors and suggest potential interests.

The user still makes the final choice on who they want to send a "Like" to.
