For reasons still unknown, Lil Mama who has recently undergone a very impressive style transformation, showed up to the 2017 MTV VMAs with a strange accessory in tow. She stunned in a floor length red gown but instead of a purse, she carried a live bird in a birdcage. Naturally, though it matched her outfit. 

Then of course, the bird was set free for everyone to see but why the bird was even there in the first place is still cryptically unknown. The red carpet has always been a place where musicians really bring it, so we aren't surprised that Lil Mama decided to go with the showman route. We just hope PETA understands.
