In a special holiday message to his social media fans, Drake's mom, Sandi breaks down what's behind that OVO emo-rap that he keeps winning with.

Drake posted two Instagram videos of his mother Christmas day. "We're talking about why people think I cry," he tells her. 

“They don’t think you cry,” she assures. “They would imagine that you would be a person that may cry because you are a sensitive soul.”

He captioned it "Sensitive Soul."

In the next vid, she clears up any lingering confusion about whether or not that sensitivity causes actual waterworks.

“It’s not that you cry at all,” she says. “I’ve never seen you cry on stage or even when the two of us are just together.”

So there. Don't think about it too much, Drizzy's okay.
