Kendrick Lamar Performs on Jimmy Kimmel

K. Dot kills it during the late night performance.

Fresh off the road, Kendrick Lamar returned to L.A. like a champ last night for a performance on Jimmy Kimmel’s outdoor stage. “We home right now," he said with a big smile.
Rocking with a live band, K-Dot’s first televised tune was "Poetic Justice," which he ran through without Drizzy Drake (although the sample of Janet Jackson’s “Any Time, Any Place” was there just like on the record).
Next up was his latest single, "B---- Don’t Kill My Vibe," whose first word he helpfully amended to "trick" for the benefit of all good kids watching at home. Kendrick’s precise syncopated flow was every bit as thrilling without the curse word.
"I know y’all probably got your good clothes on but turn up," he instructed the crowd, but he was already killing it.
Kendrick Lamar will be performing as part of the BET Experience on June 29 at the Staples Center along with ScHoolboy Q, Snoop Dogg and Miguel. It’s going to be an epic night for L.A. hip hop.
