Kim Wayans has still got it!

The comedian and actress has launched a new YouTube comedy series called “Still Got It with Izzi Fabulous,” premiering on her official channel and featuring Wayans as Izzi, a confident life coach navigating love, aging and identity with humor. The series is described as character-driven and aimed at comedic storytelling rooted in Black women's experiences. 

The first episode, titled, “Girl Listen To Your Sista” is live on her YouTube channel and features her famous brother, Shawn Wayans as the director and producer. Several commenters noticed Shawn’s presence behind the camera and were delighted the siblings were working together.

Wayans started the new year launching the series that centers on Izzi Fabulous offering bold life advice, confidence coaching, and sassy observations, classic material that fits Wayans’ long career in sketch and character comedy. Wayans both stars in and anchors the show’s comedic voice, bringing decades of TV and film experience to a direct-to-audience digital format. 

Wayans is widely known and adored for her sketch comedy work on “In Living Color” and her sitcom work (“My Wife & Kids,” “Reckless”). Her new direction follows a trend of established comedians launching their own projects to reach audiences directly and retain creative control. The show’s promotional clips and the premiere episode are available on Wayans’ YouTube channel and have been shared via her social platform. 

Wayans is tapping into the freedom of digital storytelling and cultivating her own audience without studios or limitations. She’s in control of her own narrative and her comedic voice remains as sharp and relevant as ever! Wayans is also set to appear in the latest “Scary Movie” installment, “Scary Movie 6.”
