Nick Cannon Accidentally Sent Out the Wrong Mother's Day Cards: 'I Tried My Best!'

The dad of 12 admits there was a mix-up with greetings sent to the mothers of his kids.

Managing a dozen children and six mothers can be challenging, so it is pretty easy to see how someone can get confused—and Nick Cannon has confessed that things can get hectic. On his daily radio show, the television personality admitted that he got mixed up sending personalized messages to the mothers of his children.

"I tried my best, I really did," Cannon said. "But I thought it would be really, really good to — you know, I could buy, whatever you know — to show people how you really feel, write it down."

He added, "And I was doing handwritten messages from the heart. So then as I'm writing the handwritten message, I get the cards mixed up. And then so when one baby mama reads the card about how I feel about the other baby mama …"

Cannon lamented, "See if I would just got some generic s--- that everybody else got, that wouldn't have happened."

The 42-year-old star has twins Moroccan and Monroe with ex-wife Mariah Carey, as well as a set of twin boys, Zion and Zillion, 19 months, and 3-month-old daughter Beautiful Zeppelin with Abby De La Rosa.

He is also dad to sons Rise Messiah, four months, and Golden Sagon, 6, as well as daughter Powerful Queen, 2, with Brittany Bell, son Legendary Love, seven months, with Selling Sunset's Bre Tiesi; and daughter Onyx Ice, four months, with model LaNisha Cole.

Cannon's youngest child, Halo, is eight weeks old; her mom is model Alyssa Scott, with whom Cannon had a son Zen who died at five months old due to brain cancer.

It's not just his children that are keeping Cannon busy. He is still the host of The Masked Singer, Wild 'N Out, and recently took over for Jamie Foxx as the host of Beat Shazam.

"Beat Shazam has been an unscripted mainstay on the FOX schedule for six seasons and counting," the network wrote in a post on Instagram, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"This season, not wanting fans of the game show to miss a minute of the fun, Nick Cannon has offered to fill in as guest host for his friends, Jamie and Corinne Fox. Kelly Osbourne will be filling in as guest DJ."

The statement concluded, "Everyone at FOX Entertainment wishes Jamie well as he continues his recovery, and we greatly appreciate Nick's willingness to jump in and help this summer."
