Ken The Man Hints At A Deluxe Version For Her Latest Project, ‘Back To 304’n’

The artist is set to embark on a tour to promote the project on September 19.

Ken The Man is making big moves this year. The Houston-bred artist recently signed with Roc Nation in July, sharing the news on Instagram, commenting, “I’m so glad we chose each other.”

Before all the fame, the 29-year-old used to be a DoorDasher before cashing in on her dreams. In 2021, her project What’s My Name was featured on Rolling Stone’s  “20 Best Hip-Hop Albums of 2021, ranking number 16. Fast forward, the unstoppable rapper is embarking on a tour to support her latest project, Back To 304’n, kicking things off in Denver, Colorado.

In a colorful conversation with BET Talks, the artist shared she was initially “stressed out” before putting the project out due to waiting for a period to release it.

“I feel like the longer you wait to release a project, the more stressed you get because you don’t know what people’s anticipation build-up was,” she shared.

“Now, they're expecting something. It’s always nerve wracking to present something you think is good because you hope they love and ultimately, it’s for them and not just for myself. I feel so good. It’s out and they love it.”

If you felt the eight-song project was too short, there’s a chance you may be getting a deluxe version, as she expressed she “plans on” adding more tracks.

“I’ve never done a deluxe album before but felt like it was missing something,” she said.

“I may throw a little something else together for a deluxe album.”

She also breaks down the term “304’n,” with the area code representing Virginia and the rapper hailing from Houston, Texas.

“It was in my school and I don’t remember the grade but it lived with me,” she said.

“I remember telling my producer what I wanted the first title to be, he asked what that meant and then got it after. It’s a lot of people who understand but it’s something I would say while growing up.”

Ken The Man will continue to grow, so hop on the train now and listen to her latest project, Back To 304’n, and snag tickets to one of her concert stops here.
