A purveying trend has always been “destroyed” clothing. We’ve seen it all. First it was denim, then shirts. And of course you needed a destroyed hat. A lot of the “IG retailers” have made a killing off selling essentially tattered clothing. If you want to be cool, basically take a razor blade and go to work on your wardrobe! It looks like this trend is not over since destroyed shoes are the next wave. 

Maison Martin Margiela released a destroyed multicolor version of their popular “Future” high-top sneakers. The Future sneakers stay in high demand in general due to guys like Kanye West, Usher and Jay Z, who keep them in heavy rotation. 

Even though the sneaker is “destroyed,” the price is not, sadly. The sneaker is selling for $1,425, which is about 400 bucks higher than the “intact” versions!
