Fans Have Dug Up More Dirt On Nicki Minaj's New Man

And Nicki finally breaks her silence...

Queens-bred femcee Nicki Minaj is celebrating her 36th birthday by laying those rumors to rest about her new beau. The “Pills N Potions” rapper is sunbathing, living her best life in an undisclosed location and made it Instagram official with her bae. Last week, it was reported that Nicki’s man is a convicted rapist. At age 17, Kenneth Petty was convicted of first-degree rape of a 16-year-old girl, and it’s unclear how long he sent in prison over this conviction.

  • Yet, it seems the internet wasn’t done uncovering the mystery behind Barbie’s Ken.

According to a criminal complaint from the Queens County District Attorney, Petty pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter in the fatal shooting of a man named Lamont Robinson. His initial charge was second degree murder. The complaint states that on April 27, 2002, half past midnight, Petty shot Robinson several times and the victim died later at the hospital. Petty pleaded guilty in 2006, was sentenced to a decade in prison, but served seven years behind bars. Nicki’s man was released in May of 2013 and was on supervised release until May of 2018.

The “Your Love” rapper, then, defended her beau over his rape conviction. One fan inquired, “wait, y’all calling this man a rapist but it happened in 1994, meaning he was 16 or 17… must’ve been a white girl.” Nicki fired back saying, “he was 15. She was 16… in a relationship. But go awf, Internet.”

  • “Y’all can’t run my life. Y’all can’t even run y’all own life,” she continued

  • Now, Nicki is feeding into the antics. “Oh they wanna talk? Let’s give’m smthn to talk about…”

  • Welp, there you have it, folks.
