Louisville, Kentucky rapper EST Gee has been on a roll over the past year and a half, with smash hits “Special Remix” (featuring Yo Gotti), “Lick Back”, and “Capitol 1” dominating the midwest and southern underground street circuit.
This past July, he was named number one of Rolling Stone’s Breakthrough 25 Chart, which ranks the fastest-rising up-and-coming artists of the month on streaming and appeared on Billboards’s July R&B/Hip-Hop Rookie of the Month.
Born George Stone III, Gee began receiving buzz after his 2020 mixtape I Still Don’t Feel Nun, which featured Yo Gotti, 42 Dugg, Moneybagg Yo and Jack Harlow.
The tape landed EST Gee a deal with Yo Gotti's Collective Music Group (CMG) label, which later lead to the 2021 release of his project Bigger Than Life or Death, with a star-studded list of guest contributors from Future, Young Thug, 42 Dugg and Pooh Shiesty.

EST Gee was also good on the gridiron. The 6’1 rapper was a first-team all-state athlete at Saint Xavier High School and received a football scholarship to Indiana State University, making him the first in his family to attend college.

Received A Big Bag When He Signed
In January, Memphis mogul Yo Gotti signed EST Gee to his CMG label and made sure the 27-year-old was feeling the love by giving him a $750,000 cash advance on Instagram Live.
Lil Baby Encouraged Him To Rap
According to XXL, Atlanta rapper Lil Baby inspired EST Gee to pursue rap full time when he was on house arrest for a drug trafficking charge in 2016.
The magazine says Gee saw Lil Baby rhyming on TV and thought of him. By 2018, Gee was reportedly making songs in a bathroom recording studio.
