The Game Responds to G-Unit Reunion Rumors

It's not looking good.

There have been rumors floating around recently about the possibility of a G-Unit reunion between Game and 50 Cent.

Different instances of solidarity between the two camps have popped up on social media over the past few months as the Compton native has been spotted with numerous members of the New York group, and even the same nightclub as Fif.

HipHopDX recently caught up with Game at a video shoot for his single “Roped Off” and asked him about the possibility of a G-Unit reunion. The chance of it happening, at least in the short term, doesn’t sound good.

“I don’t know where that came from man, but I can’t see that happening no time in the near future,” Game explained. “Everybody just doing their thing. Positivity, it’s all love these days, 2016 we’re trying to keep everybody alive out here.”

The rumors of a reunion began when Game’s artist Pharoah posted a picture of himself in the same building as 50 Cent. Those trying to speak a possible collaboration into existence then assumed they were there together not believing the whole thing could've been just a coincidence.

The beef between Game and 50 Cent began in 2005 when 50 kicked Game out of his group for not taking his side in another beef he had with Ja Rule and Fat Joe. Things escalated to the point of gunfire as the two crews exchanged bullets outside of Hot 97. To keep everyone alive, they would hold a press conference shortly afterward, but that didn’t keep the beef off wax as each has dissed one another on songs since.
