Colman Domingo Reveals His Close Call With a Cult Abroad
Colman Domingo recently revealed how he almost ended up in a cult in Mexico City.
During his appearance on Mythical Kitchen's “Last Meals” podcast, the “Rustin” actor encountered a group of people during his stay.
“I almost joined a cult in Mexico City, but that’s another story. It was like, it was just a group of nice people. And then I was like, wait a minute, this is weird,” he began to share.
“I was like, what’s up with you guys? Yeah, this is my first encounter. But as I did research and found out more about them, I’m like, oh that’s a cult.”
The host followed up, jokingly saying, “I still feel like we should join, but I, after we’ll get dessert and mull it over.”

The “Euphoria” star then responded, questioning whether the podcast is a cult.
“Is this a cult? It might be.”
The veteran actor has a busy schedule as of late, as he finished filming the final season of “Euphoria” back in July.
When speaking to GQ, he shared how he and Zendaya “slipped” right back into their characters.
“I filmed some of it right before I came here, in March. And then I go back to finish up my work in July,” he told the outlet.
“Me and Zendaya, we just slipped right into Ali and Rue very quickly. Because we do have sort of, I wouldn’t say father/daughter, but a very big brother, little sister [relationship]. Because even off-camera, we talk. We have such deep talks. Every time the camera call’s cut, we’re talking about loss, friendship, style—you name it, high and low. Sam [Levinson] is such a beautiful director. It’s really simple and easy. The content of the work can be demanding because that’s the nature of the show. I think we’re going to really create a great season three so far. I love every beat of it.”
