Antonio Brown Accused Of Shooting a Man at Boxing Event

Zül-Qarnaįn Nantambu claims the wide receiver procured a firearm after their scuffle and shot at him.

Antonio Brown has been accused of shooting at a man during a brawl in the parking lot of Adin Ross' boxing event in Miami on Friday night (May 16).

According to Brown, he was defending himself from a group of men who jumped him and tried to take his jewelry in the viral videos. But Zül-Qarnaįn Nantambu, one of the men seen in the video, claims he was being attacked by Brown.

Speaking interview with TMZ Sports, Nantambu, who interrupted Kendrick Lamar’s Halftime Super Bowl performance with a pro-Palestine protest, has alleged that he was the victim of the attack, alleging that he was jumped by Brown and two of his friends before Brown fired gunshots at him with children nearby.

“He's a liar,' he said about Antonio. “If you watch the video, everybody was attacking me, it was a 3v1,” Nantambu explained.

'The dude with the green hoodie was with AB, the other little Puerto Rico-looking dude that was swinging the bat was with AB, and the rest was Adin's security. The guy that he kicked was Adin's security. All he was doing was pulling him away.”

After the initial confrontation, Nantambu said that Brown procured a firearm and fired gunshots with children nearby

“He went, got a gun, shot wildfire, and we fight,' he continued. 'He shot at me twice, praise be to Allah, I wasn't hit. They got children out their selling candy, bro. He could've hit one of them kids.”

Zül-Qarnaįn also said that his feud with Brown began in 2022 after Brown allegedly got him arrested in Dubai back in 2022. He also said that Brown owes him $180,000 despite but he did not disclose why.

Since the incident took place, several videos surfaced on social media showing Brown in a parking lot. One video shows the former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver in handcuffs. Eventually, Brown was released and appeared on Ross’ live-stream, where he jokingly said that his reaction was because he has CTE.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Brown shared his version of what occurred at the event.

Regarding the boxing event that happened last night," Brown wrote. “I was jumped by multiple individuals who tried to steal my jewelry and cause physical harm to me. Contrary to some videos circulating, the Police temporarily detained me until they received my side of the story and then released me. I WENT HOME THAT NIGHT AND WAS NOT ARRESTED.”

Brown also said that he will be seeking to press charges against the alleged assailants who assaulted him.

"I will be talking to my legal counsel and attorneys on pressing charges on the individuals that jumped me. I will keep you all posted step-by-step on the process,” his post continued. “Thank you for the support and love."
