Austin Rivers Was All in His Feelings Last Night

The league may fine or suspend Clippers guard for throwing seat cushion.

Hey, Doc Rivers — talk to your son.

USA Today is reporting that the NBA is investigating an incident where Los Angeles Clippers guard Austin Rivers allegedly threw a seat cushion that hit a fan during the fourth quarter against the Sacramento Kings at Sleep Train Arena on Wednesday night. The 23-year-old guard, who's the son of Clippers president and coach Doc Rivers, could face discipline from the league due to the incident.

A female fan hit by the cushion reportedly experienced discomfort in her eyes following the alleged throwing of the seat cushion. Rivers tossed the cushion in frustration after only logging three points through 16 minutes in the Clippers' 111-104 victory.

The Clippers are set to host the Dallas Mavericks in L.A. on Thursday night.

That game will reunite Clippers center DeAndre Jordan with the Mavs for the first time since this past summer when he revoked his free-agent verbal agreement to join Dallas and re-signed with L.A.
